I grew up in Northern Minnesota, and I mean Northern! I was about 30 miles south of the Canadian border as the crow flies. I could not wait to get out of that ice box! I spent 3 years in Germany and a year in Florida before making Colorado my home. Aside from a brief 2-year sojourn to the east coast I have been in one part of Colorado or another ever since. I love this state and it is truly my home. My husband Charlie and I recently relocated from Elizabeth Colorado to the Cog above Hayden. I lived in Oak Creek what seem like a lifetime ago in the late 1990�s, and true to form the �Yampa Valley Curse� proved itself! We are thrilled to be part of this vibrant community. We have a crew, including pigs and cattle that we produce for our friends and family, horses and the pre-requisite dogs and cats. I have an adult son who lives in Prescott Arizona with his wife and attends Embry Riddle Aeronautic University. I love skiing, horse riding (I ride English), reading and all things mountains. I started out life thinking I was going to be a vet. Medicine has always fascinated me, but life sent me on some detours. My first bachelor�s is in business. A little later in life I came into nursing specifically to work in end-of-life care, which remains one of my passions. Along my route to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I fell in love with Family Practice. I worked for 3 years on the eastern plains providing care for all ages. I then came back to serious illness care for 2 years before starting my practice. I am passionate about addressing the entire person.
