Abdul Quyyum Ahmed, MD, is the Family Practice Specialist in Orlando, Florida. He graduated with honors in 2005. Dr. Ahmed has completed his residency in Family Medicine in 2012. Prior to that he did his residency in General Surgery and completed exams from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburg in 2005. He has experience with a full scope of family medicine disciplines including preventive medicine and managing chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. His special interests are wound care, minor trauma, and performing a variety of minor office procedures. He has also served in Acute Rehabilitation Units; Long Term Care Facilities; and Intensive Care Units within hospitals. Many patients receiving care in the inpatient hospital setting require specialized follow-up care known as post-acute care. Dr. Ahmed is equally versed in inpatient/outpatient and post-acute care. He�s been on faculty with his residency program as an Associate Director where he was actively involved in the education and medical students and residents. His greatest amount of training has been in a rural community setting while serving various hospitals in the Western Kentucky region. With his experience and skill set, Dr. Ahmed is excited to move down to the central Fl area with his wife and 3 children. Dr. Abdul Quyyum Ahmed has been affiliated with many hospitals including Baptist Health Madisonville, Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, and T J Samson Community Hospital, and has cooperated with other doctors and specialists in many medical groups including Community United Methodist Hospital, Inc, Baptist Health Madisonville, Orlando Health and is currently licensed to practice medicine in Kentucky and Florida.
Dr. Anam Tawwab pursued her medical degree at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences in Jamshoro, Pakistan and went on to complete her residency at Baptist Health Madisonville which is affiliated with the University of Louisville, KY. She then relocated to Central Florida where she did her fellowship training in geriatric medicine at Florida Hospital. After her training she joined Multicare Physicians in 2017. Dr. Anam is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Geriatrics Society, She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her specialties include dementia, polypharmacy, nursing home care, and geriatric syndromes.
Dr. Juveria Tawwab is a compassionate family doctor with a passion for serving her patients by meeting their many needs. Her particular interests are managing patients with multiple medical problems including Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, CHF and other chronic diseases; Womens Health, Preventive Medicine, and Behavioral Medicine including ADHD in children and adults. She began her career in urgent care with children as young as 3 months. As she grew in age and experience, she later treated youth and adults. Now she is able to offer a continuum of care to many ages as they transition through life. Her primary focus has been womens health and outpatient medicine involving pediatrics to geriatrics in the last 5 yrs. She has been fortunate to have worked with five-star medical facilities such as Baptist Health Urgent Care formerly known as Trover Center Urgent Care and Baptist Health Medical association in KY. Having grown up most of her life in Deltona and initially studied in Florida, Dr. Tawwab is thrilled to have relocated to Central Florida along with her husband and 3 three children. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
Dr. Faisal Tawwab is a Direct Primary Care Family Physician based in Lake Mary, Florida, serving Orlando, Deltona, and surrounding areas. He graduated with honors in 2009 specializing in Allopathic & Eastern/ Family Medicine. Dr. Faisal Tawwab has completed his training Family Medicine in the rural town of Madisonville, KY, where his residency program is affiliated with the University of Louisville. Since his residency, Dr. Tawwab served mainly in ER/Urgent Care settings and inpatient Hospitalist Medicine in Kentucky. He was fortunate to have practiced Urgent Care Medicine for 1 year in Greenville, KY along with being a Hospitalist for Baptist Health Madisonville. Dr. Tawwab also has a special interest in Sports Medicine. He has been part of the local communities' middle school and high school teams for North Hopkins and Central Hopkins where he was trained as a Teams Physician. He has attended several sporting events including sports coverage for basketball and football JV/Varsity. His devotion to healthcare from a holistic perspective motivated him to become a family physician. Dr. Tawwab is committed to providing each of his patients with comprehensive and compassionate medical care. Dr. Tawwab looks forward to seeing a variety of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and enjoys a multitude of procedures including those related to sports medicine. Dr. Tawwab is equally versed in inpatient/outpatient and post-acute care. He is married with 2 sons and his wife is a board-certified Geriatrician with Multicare Physicians. As a family, they have traveled extensively for medical training and are happy to be finally settled in the central Florida area. In his free time, Dr. Tawwab enjoys spending time with his sons and actively playing sports.
