She believes the best medicine starts with listening — taking time to understand each person’s story, goals, and challenges before creating a plan together. Dr. Hochman enjoys helping patients make meaningful, realistic changes that fit their lives. She especially enjoys working with patients who are ready to take an active role in improving their health, guiding them to understand the “why” behind their care rather than simply following instructions. She values being thorough and unhurried, which allows her to catch important details and provide personal, precise care. Outside of the exam room, Dr. Hochman is an advocate for preserving high quality physician care, free from the limitations of insurance-driven medicine. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dogs, getting lost in a good book, and being outdoors in nature whenever she gets the chance
