Dr. Don Allred has been practicing family medicine since 1992 in the southwest Salt Lake Valley. Born in Salt Lake City, he graduated from Juab High School and subsequently received his bachelors degree from the University of Utah where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology. He attended medical school in Fort Worth, Texas and received his doctorate degree with honors at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Residency training was completed through the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine at the University of Utah. He has been certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 1992. Professional interests include pediatric care, sports medicine, and diabetes management, as well as office gynecology. Dr. Allred enjoys basketball and golf, ice fishing, crossword puzzles, and experiencing Utah's wonderful outdoors. Dr. Allred and his family live in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
Dr. Daniel Thompson was born in Rose Canyon, near Herriman, Utah with the Oquirrh mountains for a back yard. He is the second oldest of nine children. His brother Jeremy has a dental practice in the same building as Riverton Family Health. Dr. Thompson graduated with honors from Bingham High School in 1987. He then attended the University of Utah on a Presidential Scholarship, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1992. He was then accepted to the University of Utah School of Medicine and graduated in 1996. He then moved to Pocatello, Idaho, and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Idaho State University in 1999. Since then, he moved back home to work at Riverton Family Health Center. He loves the communities of South Salt Lake and is looking forward to meeting all the folks south of Camp Williams at the new Zenith office. He particularly loves the family friendly atmosphere here. He claims to have the best patients a doctor can ask for and he especially loves the children and young adults that come with our great families here in this area. Dr. Thompson asserts, I've found the right job and I've found the right place to work!
Jessica grew up in Pullman, Washington where she graduated from Pullman High School in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science of Nursing Degree from Washington State University in 2009, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. After working two years as a pediatric home care nurse, she decided to return to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with her Masters Degree in Nursing in 2014. She loves the field of family medicine and looks forward to caring for families across the lifespan. Jessica was a collegiate volleyball player and loves talking sports. She also enjoys wakeboarding, hiking, and golfing whenever time allows. She loves spending time with her husband and two small children, who light up her life. She has lived in Utah now for four years and feels blessed to call it home.
Christian Hess is a highly dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with a profound commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to individuals and families. With extensive training and experience in the medical field since 2010, Christian has continually demonstrated his expertise and dedication to patient care. Christian embarked on his medical journey by obtaining his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medical Assistant (MA) certificates from Mountain Land Applied Technology. Building upon his foundation, he joined Riverton Family Health as a Medical Assistant, where he gained valuable firsthand experience and developed a deep understanding of patient care. Driven by his passion for helping others, Christian pursued higher education to expand his knowledge and skills. He earned an Associates of Applied Science and an Associates of Nursing from Salt Lake Community College, solidifying his foundation in nursing. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, he furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor's of Nursing and a Master's of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, his Alma Mater. Christian's unwavering dedication to patient care stems from witnessing the remarkable impact that healthcare professionals had on his own family. Inspired by their exemplary work, he strives to create a nurturing and supportive environment for his patients, fostering trust and building lasting relationships. Outside of his professional pursuits, Christian maintains a well-rounded lifestyle. Additionally, he finds solace in spending time outdoors with his family and indulging in literature during his leisure moments. Dustin grew up in Monticello Utah where he graduated from Monticello High School. He obtained an Associate of Science Degree from Snow College before getting his BSN at SUU. Dustin then moved back to Monticello where he worked at San Juan County Hospital for eight years before starting at Mountain Point Medical Center in the ICU. Dustin completed his Master's degree at Weber State and started at Zenith Family Health in 2019. Dustin knows people's time is valuable and takes pride in working hard to stay on schedule ensuring patients can get in and out on time. Dustin loves sports, especially baseball and he's a lifelong Cubs fan. He stays close to his small-town roots and loves hunting, fishing, and hiking. Dustin and his wife share 6 children and love spending time with family.
Josiah was born and raised in Sandy Utah. He has worked in various professions but has always enjoyed caring for others. Josiah was drawn to healthcare at a young age. He began his venture into the medical profession at Salt Lake Community College, where he graduated with his Associates of Science. After receiving his nursing degree, he began working in American Fork Hospital as a registered nurse. He worked in the medical surgical, orthopedic, and psychological units. Josiah continued his education, while working as a nurse, at Chamberlain College of Nursing where he was awarded both his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing Practice Degrees. Josiah enjoys being with his family in his free time. Some of his favorite hobbies are camping, fishing, hiking, and working on home and yard projects.
Ally is a Family Nurse Practitioner. Born in Murray, she graduated from Jordan High School and subsequently received her bachelors degree from Utah Valley University where she graduated in Biology. She attended nursing school in Draper, Utah, and received her master's degree at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. A large portion of clinical training was completed within Zenith Family Health under the guidance of Dr. Don Allred. She has been certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2020. Professional interests include emergency medicine, trauma care, and wellness management. Ally enjoys studying music, cycling along groomed trails, road trips, and experiencing new adventures. Ally and her family live in Draper, Utah.
Becky Jenson is a home grown native Utahn. She is a certified Family & Womens Health Nurse Practitioner. Becky loves working with her patients in promoting health & wellness in all aspects of their lives. Becky graduated from Layton High School in 1982. She attended Weber State College graduating in 1984 with an Associate in Nursing. She worked in several local hospitals from 1984-1998 in labor & delivery, med-surg. ICU & rehab. She also enjoyed teaching child birth classes at this time. While raising 6 children and building a new home, she returned to school graduating in 1997 with honors from University of Phoenix in 1997 with her Bachelors degree in Nursing. Becky graduated from the University of Utah in 1999 with her Masters degree in Nursing, and in 2001 she completed a post-master certificate in family practice. Becky lives in Bluffdale with her wonderful husband Mike and their 7 children. She is the proud Nana to several grandchildren. She loves to spend time traveling, camping, and fishing with her family. In her quiet moments she is an avid reader of history, health, wellness, and nutrition.
Mike Ryan was born and raised in West Valley City, Utah. He is the youngest of 6 children. Mike earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah in Behavioral Science and Health. He went to AT Still University in Gilbert, AZ earning his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Mike loves getting to know his patients and help them in all their needs. Mike loves the Utah seasons. He loves to hunt, fish, boat, and spend time with his wife and children. He has three children, two girls and one boy.
