I have always loved the science of medicine, �focusing on the root cause of problems is enjoyable to me. I naturally gravitated to Functional Medicine and am now working toward a certification in the most exciting frontier of medicine available. For some, traditional medicine works best but for others, preventative medicine, and anti-aging therapies are most appealing. �I use a holistic approach to family medicine to treat both chronic and urgent health conditions, I provide both men's and womens health, science backed skin care, weight management and hormone balancing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have over 21�years of Emergency Room experience and�8�years of Internal Medicine and Family Practice. �I am interested in keeping people out of the ER, Urgent care and hospitals by being accessible when clients need care most. Richard Brown, MD is�an Internal Medicine Specialist�over 24 years of experience as a Physician and has been with Synergy Complete Healthcare since 2019. He brings a wealth of experience in various aspects of healthcare including Emergency Services, Hospitalist medicine, Rural Healthcare, Family medicine and additional�training in Infectious Disease. He is also interested in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine.� He graduated from University Of Kansas School Of Medicine with his medical degree in 2000. Upon graduation, Dr. Brown served as Chief Resident and Assistant Professor, holding both teaching and clinical appointments. During his tenure at KUMED, he gained valuable experience at Kansas City and Leavenworth VAMC. Dr. Brown is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri and takes pride in addressing all of his patients' medical needs. When necessary, he also assists patients in navigating the complexities of the�healthcare system. Originally from Lenexa Kansas, Dr. Brown excelled in academics, athletics--particularly football and track--and musical productions. He also served as a firefighter and paramedic for over seven years before pursuing his medical degree. In his�personal life, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family and extended relatives cherishing moments of connection and togetherness.
