He lives with his wife, Janelle of 26 years and their children on a ranch in the Fort Klamath region. They have 6 children and are just waiting for grandchildren at this point. He enjoys being active in his local Church body, hunting, hiking and working on his Dexter cow ranch, getting to live off the land. He is passionate about world missions and making Christ known to the nations. Jon is looking forward to expanding his practice model in this Direct Primary Clinic. Getting to spend more time with patients and have less regulations will allow for better diagnostic capabilities, expand preventative care, and open up natural treatment options that have not been available until now. Jon also encourages his patients to take an active role in their healthcare and that of their families. He looks forward to taking care of each person as an individual and hopefully continues this great trend in medicine known as Direct Primary Care.

Matthew Heberling is a Physician Assistant, Certified in Family Practice, who graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Pacific University. He has a BS in Finance and Accounting from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!). After working in the banking industry for several years he learned medicine was his true calling. Raised in Milwaukie, Oregon, Matt moved to Klamath Falls, where he met his wife, Madison. Prior to joining NICCs DPC Matt served the local community working at Klamath Open Door. During his time at KOD, Matt honed his skills in various procedures and minor surgeries while gaining knowledge and developing expertise at the intersection of western and functional medicine. Madison is an RN who also serves the community working in acute care. They are very excited to serve their community in a different capacity with NICCs DPC. Matt is also a member of the Oregon National Guard and has served our military community since 2019. During this time, he has gained valuable experience in trauma medicine as well as occupational medicine with many of these skills directly influencing his practice today. Through his research and experience, Matt has come to learn and love the Direct Primary Care model of medicine. He has an interest in sports medicine, stemming from his experience competing in various sports such as Soccer and CrossFit. He has relied on his passions and experience to guide his continuing education and advancement of his current practice. Matt takes pride in treating each patient as an individual customizing treatment plans to best fit their needs. Matt encourages his patients to take an active role in their own health by nurturing and promoting an interactive patient-provider partnership. Matt and Maddie believe the DPC model of medicine maximizes the patient-provider experience and are excited to share this with the community. In his free time, Matt loves spending time with his wife, daughter Raegan and dogs. They enjoy taking part in their church community, hiking, camping, fishing, and soaking up loads of vitamin d.
